Wideband Systems, Inc. designs and manufactures high-performance, real-time recording products. We specialize in custom designed recording systems as well as provide standard, off-the-shelf recording systems satisfying a wide range of requirements. Our versatile disk-based Digital Recording Systems are designed with analog and digital instrumentation interfaces and flexible control features.

Our robust, reliable Wideband Telemetry Recorders with 4800+ Mbps aggregate rates, built-in multiplexers, and flexible interfaces are supporting the DOD, NASA, and other Government Agencies all across the country and internationally.  Our industry-leading telemetry recorder, the DRS3300E-144GB-16A16D, is universally accepted  as the drop-in, direct replacement for the venerable 14-track analog instrumentation recorder. We are also providing support to our telemetry customers who are transitioning to the emerging IRIG 106 Chapter 10 interface standard.

DRS8000P -- Real-time Recording System The Digital Recording System - DRS8000P  Optimized for the Telemetry market, the DRS8000P, provides exceptionable bandwidth and scalability in an ultra-compact form factor. As with all DRS8000 products, it maintains strict compliance with the IRIG-106 Chapter 10 standard, as well as continued support of the native WSI format. It's small size, however, in no way reflects its capabilities ... with the ability to support all applications, from IF to High-Def video recording, the DRS8000P provides up to 4 terabytes of storage.
DRS8200X -- Real-time Recording System The Digital Recording System - DRS8200X  The DRS8200X is the compact member of the Industry-leading Digital Recording System (DRS) product family. Optimized for the Telemetry market, the DRS8200X provides exceptionable bandwidth and scalability while maintaining strict compliance with the IRIG-106 CH10 Standard. The DRS8200X accepts one user-installable Interface Board (IFB) providing extensive support for a wide range of telemetry applications. Employing a dual-diskbank architecture, the system provides user-selectable, flexible recording modes: striped (high data rate), mirrored (redundancy), or sequential (extended duration).With a storage capacity of up to 2.4TB and an aggregate data rate of 1600+ Mbps, the DRS8200X is uniquely qualified for the most demanding telemetry requirements. The DRS8200X excels in pre-detect analog, post-detect digital PCM, and direct IF recording, as well as Video, Ethernet, Serial, and 1553 recording. DRS8300XA -- Real-time Recording System The Digital Recording System - DRS8300XA  is a recent addition to the Industry-leading Digital Recording System (DRS) product family. Optimized for the Telemetry market, the DRS8300XA provides exceptional flexibility while maintaining strict compliance with the IRIG-106 Standard. The DRS8300XA employs a flexible architecture which supports direct IRIG-106 CH10 recording/reconstruction to/from a variety of COTS media. The standard configuration includes: two internal, removable 500GB drives, interface ports to attach external USB 2.0, Firewire, or eSATA drives, an internal AIT-3 Tape drive, and 1394b ports to support CH10 RMMs. Building on the success of our robust and reliable Digital Recording Systems, Wideband Systems has raised the bar again Introducing the Next Generation Digital Recording System the DRS8300XA.



DRS8300X -- Real-time Recording System
The Digital Recording System - DRS8300X  is the workhorse member of the Industry-leading Digital Recording System (DRS) product family. Optimized for the Telemetry market, the DRS8300X provides exceptionable bandwidth and scalability while maintaining strict compliance with the IRIG-106 CH10 Standard. The DRS8300X accepts up to three user-installable Interface Boards (IFBs) providing extensive support for a wide range of telemetry applications. DRS8500X -- Real-time Recording System The Digital Recording System - DRS8500X  is the flagship member of the Industry-leading Digital Recording System (DRS) product family. Optimized for the telemetry market, the DRS8500X can record and playback at sustained rates of 4800+ Mbits per second. Both native IRIG-106 CH10 and WSI recording formats are provided. Additional features include: data export and monitoring while recording, two removable disk banks (up to 2.4TB/bank with solid-state or hard disk drives, flexible recording modes (striped, mirrored, or sequential), IRIG-A/B/G & NASA 36 External 1PPS and 10MHz timing references, and Gigabit Ethernet networking.
